The Benefit Brow Collection 2016 is almost here! Benefit are once more knocking it out of the ball park with must have products, this time it’s with 13 new brow products.
I was invited to the #RaiseYourBrowGame event at White Cloth Gallery in Leeds, and what a fun afternoon it was, with hilarious games, getting to wax a guys legs and blindfolded eyebrow drawing, made all the better by getting to spend a few hours with Ally & Laura, who I adore!
To say Benefit have gone big on this launch would be an understatement, there are 13 products, a handful of which are a revamp of existing products such as Gimme Brow & Brow Zings, the remaining 11 are BRAND NEW!
There’s literally everything your brows could possibly wish for. There’s plumpers, fillers, volumisers, definers, groomers and conditioners, gels, pencils, powders and wands.
Some of the countries best brow babes were at the event, whipping all our blogger brows into shape. Lauretta transformed by brows a number of products, which showed off one of the benefits of the products, they work in harmony which I love! Whether you want a super natural light tough or you want to go full on Instagram style brows on fleek there is something for you.
Imagine my delight when a perfectly pink package *hello alliteration* arrived at my door with 4 of the products encased I squealed with delight much to the dogs disgust, but come on, moment of joy for benefit products being delivered to my door!
A number of the products are now available in 6 shades, two light, two medium and two dark, the two shades for each depth of colour allow for both a warm, reddish tone and a cool, ashy tone. Meaning there is a shade for literally everyone.
At the event there were bloggers with every skin tone and hair colour and every single one of us walked away with the exact brow colour to suit!
So on to the products I was sent…
Gimme Brow (£18.50)
Gimme Brow has had a makeover and it’s looking great! Gimme Brow is so damn good its award-winning! Made up of brow-volumising fibre gel, it’s now available in 3 shades. New to the line up is a natural-looking medium shade. Personally I’m shade 5, which is almost the darkest shade.
Goof-Proof Brow Pencil (£18.50)
You want your brows to go from drab to fab super quick without looking ‘done’ Goof Proof is the one for you!
It has a glide-on formula, soft colour and easy to use tip. It delivers rich, waterproof colour, has twist up delivery, a non-sharpen tip and a spoolie brush *god bless the spoolie*
If you’ve liked any of my Instagram selfies recently this is what I’m wearing, in shade number 5.
Ka-Brow is a cream/gel brush on colour that easily fills, sculpts & defines brows. You can go for a natural look or build it up for a more dramatic result. It is waterproof and offers 24 hour wear, although I cannot think of a time i’ll been 24 hour staying power, I can confirm that it lasted for an 18 hour day that included a work out, two dog walks, a house clean and excessive face rubbing that I’m known for!
A bonus is the handle clips into the top of the product and makes a long handle brush which makes for a more precise application and allows for a more natural look regardless on how defined you want your brows to look, Again I use shade 5. There are 6 shades to choose from.
BrowVo Conditioning Primer (£21.50)
BrowVo works in two ways, firstly it conditions to make brows look fuller, thicker and healthier, secondly primes the brows for makeup to enhance colour and extend wear. You can also wear it overnight for a real conditioning boost. It features nutrient packed formulation in a clear gel base.
I have been using it both under my makeup and it has helped they staying power of the products I pop on top, plus I’ve been using it at night and although I haven’t noticed a huge change, it has only been 4 days!
Special thank you must go to Zeal Buzz for inviting me along and treating me to these lovely products*
