It’s never easy finding great plus size swimwear, then Boohoo Plus Size Swimwear came along and changed the game for me…
Two things that I don’t usually pair together are mid winter and swimwear, but when one of your favourite brands, Boohoo, get in touch about a swimwear event, you say yes!
Add into the mix getting the spend the evening at Village Hotels Spa in Leeds and I jumped in with both feet, even if it did mean wearing a bikini in front of the camera, something I wasn’t thrilled about but as it turns out it’s the anticipation that freaked me out and the whole event was fantastic.
I was lucky enough to be at the event with some fantastic bloggers, and we chatted lots about the fact that regardless of body size or shape, we all have confidence issues, or hangups especially when it comes to wearing swimwear. However we all looked awesome in our bikinis and swimsuits which just shows the thought that has gone into the design of the range from Boohoo, something we all commented on.
You want to feel confident when you’re by the pool, whether it’s under the summer sun or in your local pool, as a size 18 I was really pleased with the options Boohoo had, whether I wanted something a little more demure or risky like I went for with this mesh panel bikini *read to the bottom of the post, there’s a discount code for you!*
As you can see, it’s all about the boobs in this one! Something I would never, ever have chosen before but this just looked too good not to get when I saw it online. I was more than impressed when it arrived and not only fit perfectly and true to size, but also made me feel as good as the model on the website looked in it!
The one thing I hate about bikinis was one the the biggest selling points of this cheap ambien online overnight delivery one, the bottoms, there is nothing worse than finding the perfect bikini top only to find out the designers decided to make the bottoms out of nothing more than a hanky! That was so far from the case with this Boohoo bikini, it had full ass coverage, in a flattering way, with a thin band of mesh that sat in the perfect spot across my hips
I love the fact all of us girls chose completely different styles, from Kellie and her flamingos, Lucinda and her watermelon and Dash rocking monochrome, we all have very different body shapes and every single one of us looked awesome in our swimwear, proof that Boohoo has it nailed when it comes to styles for all shapes and sizes.
Once we had suitably strutted our stuff around the pool for photos, chatted in the jacuzzi and posed up a storm for snapchat it was time to dry off and head to the spa, where we were treated by the Espa Team.
We learnt how to give ourselves a facial, using ESPA products. We had personalised skin tests using a blue light that shows the moisture levels of the skin which helps the beautician decide which products would work best.
Then we were shown really great facial massage techniques and I left feeling fresh faced and absolutely relaxed beyond belief.
We we’re sent home with a lovely bag full of ESPA treatments that I have been using at home ever since, especially the Optimal Skin Procleanser which has really helped improved the radiance of my skin.
Huge thank you to the Boohoo team and the fantastic staff at Village Hotel Leeds!
