Right, I have some shocking news…it’s been 10 years since the end of Friends! I know right, 10 years how is that even possible. Last week the fabulous folk at Simplyhealth invited some bloggers along to a throwback thursday night at Everyman Cinema in Leeds Trinity. Was a great chance to spend the evening with Amy, drinking cider, eating sweeties and popcorn, watching the first four episodes of Friends. Now I’m not sure about you, but I really love the first series of Friends, Ross with his front pleated trousers, Rachel learning to be independent oh and Joey with his spectacular curtains and leather waistcoats.
All of this was part of their healthy smiles campaign – they’ve been looking into the psychology of laughter and really I challenge you to find a sitcom generic ambien time release that brings back as many awesome memories and laughs as Friends does! I mean the one liners for Chandler are enough to make my face ache from laughing, and Ross being all sad about his pregnant lesbian wife and Rachel failing miserably at making coffee!
All these years later and I still recite lines from Friends, who doesn’t shout PIVVVOOOT every time you have to carry something around a corner.
It also doesn’t hurt to watch some of the hilarious outtakes, like they say laughter really is the best medicine[youtube=http://youtu.be/9Wt0kzajuYA?list=PL1C1FB0F34406BD37]
So what was your favourite episode? Mine was The One Where No One Was Ready and Ross had to drink the fat and Rachael wore that amazing green dress…
