Every now and then a delivery arrives that you just know is packed with luxury goodies, this such box arrived a few months back, packed to the hilt with Show Beauty hair products.
Back in the summer of 2015 Show Beauty arrived at Harvey Nichols in Leeds and I was lucky enough to be invited along and the wonderful Chelsey did my hair, fast forward to November 2016 and I was back in the safe hands of Chelsey having my hair primped once more, and some fantastic new Show Beauty products introduced to me.
Chelsey talked me through the new range whilst she masterfully transformed my hair from dull to full and fabulous, then I was lucky enough to have all the products she used on my hair delivered to my door step so I could carry on using them myself.
Although I didn’t have my hair washed at Harvey Nics I was lucky enough to also be sent the Sublime Repair Shampoo & Conditioner both of which have the most stunning fragrance of musk, almond, Madagascan vanilla and patchouli, which may sound a little full on but they make for the most luxurious scent that lasts and lasts long after you’ve dried and styled your hair.
This is a deeply nourishing shampoo that moisturises and conditions hair, leaving your hair feeling repaired before you’ve even put conditioner on. It treats damaged hair, restores natural health and shine along with adding strength and manageability to hair. I really enjoyed using this shampoo, although with hair as thick and curly as mine, I prefer a shampoo that laters more, however two rounds with it and my hair did feel very very clean but nourished at the same time. Like I say, lovely, but I’m going through it very quickly as I need to double up.
I look for three things in a conditioner; high shine pay off, great scent & a nothing too heavy that adds to my already oily hair, this Sublime Repair Conditioner ticks all those boxes. Unlike the shampoo, you really do only need a 20p size which is exactly the amount that comes out of the pump bottle (which is a little slippery to handle when you’re in the shower!)
It offers the same treatment as the shampoo plus contains Caviar and white truffle extracts which enrich hair with amino acids and proteins, helping to add moisture and strength to the hair . It also has pro vitamin B5 in it which nourishes and conditions, while quinoa proteins targets and restores damage. Phew! That’s a lot of claims! However, I can happily say I agree with them!
My hair is at it’s most manageable when I use this conditioner, it blow dries easier, straightens like a dream and although looks glossy it never looked greasy and I happily went 3-4 days between washes which is a thumbs up in my books!
Once a month I add this Sublime Repair Mask into my routine to add extra tlc to my hair and help restore the damage that drying and straightening my does. I use a 50p size amount through damp, not soaking, hair focusing on the ends. Leave it for 10 minutes and then rinse out. As this is a thick, rich texture, I really would recommend going easy on putting this close to your roots.
Once my hair is washed and towel dried it’s onto the oil and mist. First up is this leave-in, multifunctional, lightweight elixir oil enriched with antioxidants and nutrients to leave hair renewed, strengthened, and deeply nourished. GO EASY WITH THIS, I know it seems like I am shouting but seriously you need one, two drops maximum of this and only put it in the very ends of your hair. It works wonder for adding shine and gives your colour a lovely boost, and although claims to be weightless I would say if your hair is on the oily side, go easy with it.
I use it when I’m going to leave my hair to dry naturally and allow it to go curly, I think it might be a little much to use if I was going to blow dry and straighten.
This hair oil is known as ‘liquid gold’ by beauty experts, argan oil penetrates the cuticle to strengthen elasticity of hair for a silky, hydrated finish, while ginger root supports natural blood circulation to enhance hair growth. Great for all hair types including damaged or chemically treated hair, this luxurious oil provides sun protection against UVA/UVB rays and fights colour fade. It also lasts an age because you need the smallest amount.
I have also used this as an over night treatment on the ends of my hair when they were heavily bleached. I added the usual amount, then braided my hair and covered my pillows in a towel, then washed out thoroughly in the morning and my hair feels thoroughly refreshed and healthy.
Last but by no means least is the Lux Volume Mist. I spray the mist generously through damp, but not ringing wet, hair concentrating on roots and mid-lengths and then blow dry and straighten as the mist is heat activated.
The mist claims to delivers hold, lift, and control for an elegant shine with added UVA/UVB protection, and I would agree with that, the hold is great and works wonders when I curl my hair with straighteners or curling wand, it gives definition and shine to curls.
The patented styling polymers lift hair from the root providing incomparable all-day hold yet a natural, flexible, and brushable finish. Wheat protein adds essential amino acids to repair while vitamin E and lychee extracts control free radicals to reduce fading of colour-treated hair. A unique protein-rich botanical blend extract of aloe vera, lavender, mango, kiwi, and ginger lily combined with argan oil encases every hair, providing all-over intense shine.
All of the products are free from parabens, sulfates & phthalates. You can get your mitts on the entire Show Beauty range in stores at Harvey Nichols and online.
It seems only right that I show you a snap of my hair after using all these lovely products so you can see how fab it looks!
Hey bros out there. For your own sake, don’t ever take two big Viagra Generic! My dick was up for 5 hours (last one in hospital..). If you ask me if did it work? – hell yeah! Did I enjoy it? – hell no! But to be honest, that’s only for my sildenafilhealth.com idiocy. This thing is strong, so not underestimate it. Use it wise and fck em good!
Now let me tell you, these are not cheap products, in fact I would say they are expensive and I am very lucky to have been gifted them. In all honestly I would and will purchase the mist and conditioner both of which really, really work. If you have a birthday coming up and love luxury treats then these would be great for the wish list!
Huge thank you to Show Beauty for gifting me these beautiful products, as always my review is 100% honest.
